July 6th '08...

Whether it’s from the J.K Rowling Trial to the new Half Blood Prince game, here at the Atrium we have it all. There is still the possibility of a podcast in our future - be prepared for that sometime in the near future. In other news - the Half-Blood prince game will come out with the movie's release, so get your 'wii-wands' ready Potter fans.
•••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••

The murmurs of our demise have been greatly exaggerated, while yes, it seems we’ve fallen twice in to a pit of inactivity we are indeed still around. We also acknowledge the plot, it has changed from what we originally sought out to accomplish but nevertheless we are extremely happy and satisfied. This forum runs with the help of every single member, we will continue – and strive to make a better Harry Potter role playing experience. If you have any suggestions or question about the forum, please, post them in our suggestion/question board.

[ ]The Great Hall (1 sub-board)
You walk into and are amazed at the sight before you. You see four long wooden tables siting in rows. They gleam and shine as if they have just been freshly polished. The sent of pine lingers around them. The stone floor is icy cold and solid. The air is oddly warm for the hallow look of the place. You look too see the ceiling and yet you don't see a ceiling at all, but you see a starry night sky. The stars glimmer and shimmer almost as if they are dancing across the sky. Fluffy grayish clouds float softly teasing you as they make attempts to cover up the immaculate stars.

[ ]The Owlery
The Owlery is at the top of the West Tower. The Owlery is a circular stone room that holds hundreds and hundreds of different kinds of owls, including both the school owls and owls that students have brought as pets, all nestled on perches that rise right to the top of the tower. None of the windows in the Owlery have glass and so it is rather cold and drafty. The floor is covered in straw, droppings, and the regurgitated skeletons of mice.

[ ]Gryffindor House: Head of House | Professor Andolini
Located in one of the castle's highest towers, the entrance to which is located on the seventh floor and is guarded by a painting of the Fat Lady, who is garbed in a pink dress. She permits entry only after being given the correct password, regularly changed by the House's prefects.

[ ]Ravenclaw House: Head of House | Professor Verto
The Ravenclaw common room and dormitories are located in Ravenclaw Tower on the west side of the school. The common room is round, like Gryffindor's common room, and has a dome ceiling painted with stars. It also features the bust of Rowena Ravenclaw wearing her diadem. In order to gain entry to the Ravenclaw common room, a logical riddle must be solved.

The Ministry
[ ]B.R.O.O.M (1 sub-board)
Bureau of Radical Obstruction of Obscure Magic

B.R.O.O.M was an organization built on three standards of magical law. The first standard is to inhibit the dark arts in magical community. The second was set up a guideline of Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry. The third of which is unspeakable in the presence of a non-ministry official. The ministry stands behind these three standards by any means they find fit, officers specialize in counter curses and defensive spells.

[ ]Minister Alveredus W. Whittaker
Alveredus W. Whittaker is not a particularly talented wizard and arrived as minister on the coattail of the previous incumbent. As Alveredus began his reign, the short plump aging man, whose gray hair with a strand untouched by things as trivial as time remains black as it was the day of his birth, breaking the law set up since early age of magic has breathed air into the world. Hogwarts became the ministers equal, Alveredus who has great displeasure, distrust, and hatred with the Headmaster, Alexander Verto, gave way to sanctions that grew worse with the disappearance of Alexander
